Tiger Woods Takes a Break from Golf

After the controversy surrounding golfer Tiger Woods’ extramarital affairs, he is set to take a break from golfing.
Over the past weeks the world-renowned golfer has topped headlines due to the string of mistresses that have unveiled from under the wood works.
Woods is the first ever athlete to earn over a billion dollars; winning 14 major titles and being known as one of the world’s greatest golfers.
However, it recently emerged the star golfer had, had up to 10 alleged affairs. After weeks of saying nothing- Woods has finally admitted to his infidelity and vows to take a break from golfing to work on his marriage.
On his site tigerwoods.com her has released a statement saying: ‘I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children.’
On his decision to put a hiatus on golfing he said: ‘After much soul searching, I have decided to take an indefinite break from professional golf. I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person’.
The decision to take a break can only be a good one, as lately he has been on the receiving end of increasing bad press and much scrutiny.
Hopefully he can build back the trust with his family and make a comeback.
